He served as the vital anchor for the siblings and nephews who followed him to Los Angeles, providing the foundation for them to build their own futures.

A man of science and strategy, Rene’s professional life was defined by his work as an Engineer at Boeing. In a city synonymous with the frontiers of flight, he possessed a sharp mind for complex systems and the rigorous discipline of engineering. This same drive led him into entrepreneurship, where he applied his technical expertise to building his own business ventures. He was a formidable presence in the Los Angeles professional community, known for

his relentless work ethic and traditional values.

He is survived by his four daughters: Antoinette, Noni, Shalanie, and Wendy; his nine grandchildren; and the siblings and nephews for whom he paved the way. He was preceded in death by his two loving parents, Jean de Dieu and Cecile, whose values he carried with him across oceans. While a man of complex nature, his impact is undeniable—seen in the family he brought together, the businesses he built, and the vibrant memory of him dancing with that trademark smile.
